Hearthbound Opens a Shared Multiplayer Village on Android and Windows

Free early-access village game from Sofia indie studio Where2Go LTD brings farming, animals, trading and troll caves to one cross-play world.

SOFIA, BULGARIA, October 23, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Hearthbound is a free multiplayer village game now available in early access for Android and Windows. Both versions connect to the same online world. Someone playing on a phone can meet, chat and trade with someone playing on a PC.

The game is being developed by Tomislav Vasilev, the sole developer behind Hearthbound at Where2Go LTD, a small independent studio based in Sofia, Bulgaria.

Every player gets a plot of land and a wooden cottage. There’s a garden where you can plant seeds, water crops and collect your harvest. Cows provide milk, sheep provide wool and chickens lay eggs. Horses can gallop through the countryside and jump over fences. A village map with a navigation arrow helps players find their way around.

There’s more to do than farming. Beneath the village are caves filled with trolls, goblin archers and a Troll King. Combat happens in real time, with abilities including Heroic Strike, Cleave and Second Wind. Players can dodge attacks and land critical hits. Outside the caves, wild animals can be hunted with guns to collect loot.

Mira, the village guide, offers daily tasks. A task board gives players more activities to complete, while achievements reward progress with medals. The village market lets neighbors buy, sell and trade goods. Players can also send gifts through the in-game mail system, use text chat or speak through push-to-talk voice chat.

Hearthbound is designed to run on modest hardware, including computers with integrated graphics. It has no advertisements. Optional purchases are limited to cosmetics, VIP and Village Pass. The game carries a PEGI 7 rating.

The interface supports English, Bulgarian, German and Spanish. Updates are released several times a week and installed automatically.

AI tools have assisted with both the artwork and the code during development.

Hearthbound supports Android 7.1 and newer through Google Play or a direct APK download. The Windows version runs on 64-bit Windows 10 and 11 and uses a digitally signed installer.

The game remains in early access, with development continuing alongside the available Android and Windows versions.
