Hyroad Energy Now Fueling and Servicing IMC Logistics’ Hydrogen Fleet in Fontana, California
PR Newswire
LONG BEACH, Calif., Sept. 15, 2026
Company supplies hydrogen and vehicle maintenance from IMC’s Fontana yard, extending the fuel-supply work it began with its Santa Fe Springs mobile refueling deployment
LONG BEACH, Calif., Sept. 15, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Hyroad Energy, an independent solution provider operationalizing hydrogen-fueled commercial trucking for fleets, today announced that IMC Logistics, a leading provider of drayage and landside logistics services in the United States, is now a Hyroad customer, receiving hydrogen fueling and vehicle maintenance services for its Class 8 hydrogen fuel cell truck fleet operating out of IMC’s Fontana, California facility. The announcement was made today at Intermodal Association of North America 2026 Expo in Long Beach, CA.
Under the agreement, Hyroad supplies hydrogen fuel to IMC’s trucks and provides ongoing maintenance and repair services, operating from space leased within IMC’s own yard. The arrangement gives IMC a single point of contact for keeping its hydrogen trucks fueled and on the road, while allowing Hyroad to extend its refueling footprint.
The relationship builds on Hyroad’s momentum in Santa Fe Springs, where the company deployed a hydrogen refueling station in partnership with Taylor-Wharton and Tom’s Truck Center after identifying a gap in local fuel availability. That project established Hyroad’s ability to stand up hydrogen supply where it was previously constrained – a capability now extending to IMC’s Fontana operations.
“Every truck IMC runs on hydrogen out of Fontana is more proof that this fuel is working in real, daily fleet operations – not just in pilots. Reliable, everyday fueling is how hydrogen earns trust with fleets across Southern California. IMC gave us the chance to prove that out in their own yard, and we’re building the track record that makes hydrogen a real option for the next fleet, and the one after that.” said Dmitry Serov, CEO and Founder, Hyroad Energy.
“IMC Logistics is committed to leading the advancement of sustainable drayage through an innovative, blended approach that includes battery-electric, hydrogen fuel cell and other emerging technologies,” said Jim Gillis, IMC Logistics Pacific Region President. “Reliable fueling and maintenance are essential to operating hydrogen trucks successfully. This support at our Fontana facility allows us to continue expanding the zero-emission transportation solutions we offer across our customers’ supply chains.”
