Avetta®, the leader in intelligent work readiness across global supply chains, today accepted two distinctions from the Business Intelligence Group in its 2026 Sustainability Awards: Sustainability Service of the Year for the Avetta platform and Sustainability Champion for Avetta’s Katie Martin, Director of Sustainability and Innovation.
The annual Business Intelligence Group Sustainability Awards honor achievement across a broad range of industries and use cases, spotlighting the companies and leaders moving environmental, social and governance (ESG) beyond commitments and into practical, accountable results.
The Business Intelligence Group recognized the Avetta platform for empowering organizations to move sustainability beyond reporting and into operational execution that helps them become and remain ready to work. By integrating supplier qualification, ESG management, compliance, performance monitoring and risk visibility into a single connected experience, Avetta enables companies to strengthen transparency, simplify information sharing and drive more sustainable outcomes across global supply chains.
Over the past year, Avetta expanded its sustainability capabilities with enhanced ESG risk management tools, supplier due diligence solutions, sustainability assessments and Scope 3 emissions reporting support. Through its partnership with eco-shaper, Avetta also strengthened customers’ ability to measure and manage greenhouse gas emissions across complex supplier networks while reducing the reporting burden on suppliers.
“Organizations make the greatest impact when they build sustainability into the way they operate rather than treating it as a separate initiative,” Martin said. “This recognition reflects Avetta’s commitment to helping customers turn sustainability goals into positive, measurable outcomes tied to their broader business objectives. We’re proud to help create supply chains that are not just resilient, but more transparent and better for people, the environment and long-term business performance.”
Martin herself earned the Business Intelligence Group’s Sustainability Champion Award for her pivotal role in driving Avetta’s ESG-focused innovation, which has helped tens of thousands of companies advance their ESG maturity.
“Meaningful sustainability progress is always a collective effort,” Martin concluded. “I’m honored to receive this recognition on behalf of the team here at Avetta and our customers who continue to drive sustainability forward every day. Together, we’re proving sustainability isn’t a cost center but a valuable addition to business best practices for those focused on maintaining—and even bolstering—competitivity and future-proofing against constantly oscillating economic realities.”
For the Business Intelligence Group, Avetta and Martin exemplify the shift from sustainability talking points to demonstrated results.
“Sustainability used to mean a pledge, now it means a number,” added Russ Fordyce, Chief Recognition Officer at the Business Intelligence Group. “Avetta and Katie stood out because their work reflects where the field is headed: measurable outcomes, not aspirational statements. This recognition highlights an organization and individual that are not just talking about sustainability but proving it with results.”
