The two firms have known each other for years. What began as a professional relationship between leaders became, over time, a recognition that they shared the same vision of what clients deserve.
“Over the years, Jody Littrell and I have known the leaders at Donaldson and built a relationship rooted in our shared responsibility to clients,” said Don Michael, Founder of IMC Advisors. “When you’ve spent decades caring for families and their financial lives, every decision matters. The joining of our firms was guided by the same principles that have always shaped our work: trust, care, and doing what’s right for our clients.”
“At DCM, we’ve always believed our people are everything. The trust they’ve earned over decades is what clients are choosing. Don, Jody, and their team have built something important,” said Sarah Moore, President & CEO of Donaldson Capital Management. “Our commitment is to protect that, to support the team these families already trust and preserve what’s working.”
The IMC team will join DCM’s office in the Breeden Building in downtown Columbus. Don Michael, IMC’s founder, will continue working with clients and work alongside the DCM team to share the knowledge he’s built over decades leading IMC. Jody Littrell joins DCM as a Senior Investment Advisor and Partner. They are joined by Shannon Hampton, Connie Oliver, and Simon Pan — the full IMC team — so every client continues working with the same people they do today. What changes is the strength behind the team: a deeper bench of planning, investment, and service resources, and the continuity of an established, multi-office firm.
DCM and IMC leaders extend our thanks to David Selig and Brett Gage of Advice Dynamics Partners, LLC, whose guidance helped bring two firms with a shared history together.
