CyberSentriq puts enterprise-grade AI defence into the hands of its global partners, closing the SMB security gap. The new AI Cybersecurity platform has been strategically designed to be used by an AI workforce
GALWAY, IRELAND / ACCESS Newswire / October 8, 2026 / CyberSentriq, the AI-native cybersecurity and resilience platform backed by Bregal Milestone, today launched SentriqAI, its new cybersecurity and data resilience platform designed to give small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) access to enterprise-grade cybersecurity through the managed service providers (MSPs) that protect them.
The launch is the first major product milestone under CEO Myles Bray, who joined CyberSentriq earlier this year to accelerate investment in AI-driven threat detection and cyber resilience.
The new SentriqAI platform puts enterprise-grade AI cybersecurity into the hands of MSPs, without requiring SMB customers to build large security teams or manage a fragmented collection of security products. It is not just frontier AI models that are being used to attack businesses – even basic AI models are making attacks more effective and harder to spot, and the imbalance is already showing up in the numbers. Palo Alto Networks’ Unit 42 threat intelligence has documented AI-assisted attacks cutting the time from initial compromise to data exfiltration to as little as 25 minutes.
Myles Bray, CEO, CyberSentriq, commented on the new platform, “AI has changed the economics of cybercrime and is giving cybercriminals the ability to launch more convincing, targeted attacks at far greater speed and scale. While the threat has moved on, the security gap hasn’t. Large enterprises have the teams, technology and budgets to respond. Most SMBs don’t, and that’s the imbalance we are addressing.”
SentriqAI is an adaptive AI engine within Unified Email Security; it analyses signals including sender, domain, authentication, links, intent and history – rather than simply producing an unexplained risk score.
It shows the reasoning behind its conclusions, giving MSP technicians visibility into why a threat has been flagged and evidence to support investigations and customer decisions.
It also distinguishes between where the platform acts autonomously and where it assists a human. Phishing quarantine and backup restore, for example, are autonomous capabilities, while threat investigation and policy recommendations remain AI-assisted.
The platform is designed to be used by an AI workforce from the ground up – reading signals continuously, prioritising what matters, and turning insight into action faster than a human-paced team ever could.
One Platform, Not a Stack of Point Tools
SMB cybersecurity has historically been delivered on an enterprise model: fragmented products, specialist skills, and constant manual intervention. MSPs have been squeezed from both sides – AI is arming attackers faster than headcount can scale to counter it, while MSPs stitch together separate vendors for email, identity, backup, and compliance that rarely talk to each other or get ahead of a threat before it lands.
CyberSentriq’s strategy is to replace those fragmented tools with a single, MSP-first Microsoft 365 security platform for SMBs, combining cybersecurity, automation, and data protection. That strategy is already showing results in the channel, according to Joe Burns, CEO and Co-Founder of Reformed IT, a UK-based MSP who has moved to CyberSentriq, explaining,
Joe Burns, CEO and Co-Founder, Reformed IT, said, “The challenge was that it looks like most providers do the same thing. There’s a lack of differentiation in that market. So, when we did look at CyberSentriq, one of the things that was attractive in the proposition was the additional backups of Entra…and the fact that we were able to do better business continuity planning with our clients because of the availability just to start to run the services in the cloud.”
Built for the Channel
CyberSentriq delivers the platform exclusively through MSPs, who manage and support the majority of the world’s SMB technology environments.
“There shouldn’t be one standard of AI cybersecurity for large enterprises and another for everyone else. SMBs face sophisticated threats, hold valuable data and depend just as heavily on their technology. Our job is to give MSPs the intelligence, automation and resilience capabilities they need to close that gap,” concluded Bray.
